How to get the most out of your wedding photo booth

Surrey FaceBooth LTD, How to get the most out of your wedding photo booth?

Hiring a photo booth for your wedding reception is a fantastic way to provide some extra entertainment for your guests whilst capturing some great shots of all the people who came to help you celebrate your special day

You can use the photo strips as wedding favours, turn them into keyrings as gifts, have your guests put them in your guestbook along with their message or simply keep the photos as memtos for you and your guests! Whatever your reason for choosing to hire one, here are some great tips to get the most out of your wedding photo booth hire.

CHOOSE ATTENDED WITH PRINTS OR UNATTENDED SOCIAL MEDIA SHARING

But wait! Whats the difference? Standard hire includes an attendent "butler" that will make sure everything runs smoothly over the course of the evening, and will explain what to do to your guests. Photos are printed instantly. On the Unattended hires the booth is setup and left with clear instructions for your guests to follow. Once photos have been taken guests have the option to email, text or share their photos online.

CHOOSE YOUR BACKGROUND

Magic Mirror's & Open Booth's come with a choice of backgrounds. You can choose any of them, create your own or use them without! Just remember your booth will be the focal point of your wedding reception! We can match your wedding theme or colour scheme! We can have our attendants dress in a particular way too! Just let us know in advance.

COLLECT PHOTOS IN A BOOK

Take advantage of our guestbooks! Although you recieve digital copies your guests' messages are priceless! A year down the line, pull out your guestbook grab a cuppa and read through the hillarious messages!

ENCOURAGE GROUP SHOTS

A lone guest in a photo booth might feel a little self conscious (think passport photo grimaces), but as soon as you get couples or groups piling in to the booth the photos will be more natural and fun.

USE CHARACTER PHOTOS

We can supply character photos so your guests' faces are superimposed onto well known cartoon characters, film stars, animals or even loved ones. You can also create your own word props!

PROPS

Giving your guests some fun props such as hats, comefy glasses, wigs and masks can produce some hilarious results!

TIME IT RIGHT

We usualyl suggest that the booth starts an hour AFTER the reception. This allows for guests to congratulate you, have a few drinks and accounts for those who are never on time!! This is the peak time when your guests are most relaxed and have got to know one another better. After a few drinks the photos are more fun too!

DONT FORGET TO USE IT YOURSELF!!!

One of the biggest things! Many couples are so busy socialising and following formalities on their wedding day that they don't have time to taste the food or enjoy themselves! Make sure you take a couple of minutes to cuddle up in the photo booth with your new husband or wife!!
