Is a 360 video booth the same as a 360 photo booth?

They're the same thing — "360 photo booth" is a common misnomer. The booth captures slow-motion video as a camera arm sweeps around guests, not stills. Output is short shareable clips, not photos.

How does the 360 video booth work?

Up to 4 guests stand on a 1m circular platform while a camera-on-an-arm rotates around them at a high frame rate. Each capture lasts around 5 seconds and is rendered into a 10–20 second clip, with playback varying between full speed and roughly quarter speed for the slow-motion sections.

How long is each 360 video clip?

Around 10–20 seconds of finished footage from a ~5-second capture. Guests can repeat as many times as they like during the hire — most groups do two or three takes to land their favourite. There's no cap on the total number of clips per hire.

How do guests get their videos?

Each clip uploads straight to a branded landing page. Guests scan a QR code on the booth screen and download the MP4 to their phone — ready to post on Instagram Reels, TikTok or Stories without resizing. After the event, the host receives a branded online gallery link covering every clip from the night, ready to share with their guests.

How much space does the 360 booth need?

2.5m × 2.5m of clear floor space and at least 2m of ceiling clearance. The platform itself is 1m diameter; the rest of the footprint is so the camera arm can swing freely.

How many guests can stand on the platform at once?

Up to 4, with a combined weight limit of 500kg. Great for bridal parties, friendship groups or family piling on together — it's not limited to solo poses.

Can the 360 booth run outdoors?

Yes, on two conditions — it has to be on a solid level floor (no soft grass or uneven decking) and it has to be under cover (a marquee, gazebo or building canopy). The electronics aren't weatherproof.

Can we add our logo or branding to the videos?

Yes — a branded overlay is included on every hire as standard. You can pick a watermark, frame or lower-third, and send us your logo, event name, hashtag or wedding monogram at booking. Intro and outro cards aren't part of the standard overlay.

Is the 360 booth safe in heels?

Yes — the platform is non-slip and our attendant guides every group on and off. We've run plenty of hires with brides and bridesmaids in heels.

Is there music? Can we choose our own track?

Yes, there's music — generic event music plays during capture so clips don't come out silent, and it's baked into the export. You can send us a specific track if you want something on-brand, but we usually suggest sticking with our generic library to avoid copyright takedowns on Reels and TikTok uploads.

How is the 360 booth different from a Glambot?

Both produce slow-motion video, but the format is different. The 360 booth has guests stand on a platform while the camera arm rotates around them — wide-angle, group-friendly, full-body shots up to 4 people. The Glambot is a robotic arm that sweeps past one or two guests in a tighter, cinematic close-up — closer to "red carpet at the Met Gala", better for VIP launches and brand events.

What add-ons are available?

Custom backdrops, red carpet, stanchions and rope, a separate sharing station (a second device for downloads — speeds up the queue at busy events), and corporate data capture (email-gate before download plus post-event analytics) are all available as add-ons. Useful for corporate launches, trade shows, VIP events and weddings that want a more polished setup.

How much does 360 video booth hire cost?

Pricing depends on event type, distance from our Surrey base, hire duration, and any add-ons. Corporate and brand-event pricing is on a separate tier to weddings and private parties.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can — peak Saturday dates (summer weddings, December corporate parties) book out furthest ahead. Weekday and off-peak dates are often available with much shorter notice. Either way, send your date and postcode through the instant quote and we'll confirm availability straight away.

Does the booth need Wi-Fi at the venue?

Wi-Fi is needed for on-the-night instant sharing — the booth uploads each clip to our hosted landing page so guests can QR-scan and download seconds later. If venue Wi-Fi is unavailable or unreliable, we capture everything offline and deliver the clips to you afterwards. Sharing is just delayed, not lost.

Can the booth run on battery / without mains power?

Most of our 360 booths run from a standard 13A socket. Some units in our fleet are battery-operated, which is useful for outdoor settings or venues where mains power isn't easily reachable. Let us know at quote stage if you specifically need battery operation and we'll confirm availability for your date.

For corporate events, can you capture guest data?

Yes — for corporate events, brand activations and trade shows we can email-gate the download (guests enter their email before getting their clip) and send you a post-event report covering plays, downloads and social shares. Useful for lead generation. Flag this at quote stage so we can configure the landing page accordingly.
