How is the oval enclosed booth different from an open-style booth?

The walls. An enclosed cabin gives guests privacy — no audience watching, no self-consciousness — which is exactly when the most candid and expressive shots happen. Open-style booths put guests on display in front of the whole room; the oval cabin lets them disappear behind four walls and have a moment.

How many people fit inside the cabin at once?

Up to three adults per shot. The oval cabin is a privacy box, not a group-photo backdrop — for a large bridal party shot the Vintage booth or Selfie Pod (open-style, wide DSLR field) will fit more guests in a single frame. Guests still cycle through in groups across the night — the per-shot limit is just three at a time.

What finishes does the cabin come in?

Three standard finishes — white, black or wood — pick one at booking. For corporate events, brand activations and product launches we can wrap the entire exterior of the cabin with custom branding instead (extra cost — flag at quote stage). The interior is the same in every finish.

How is this different from the Vintage booth?

Same camera (DSLR) and same printer (dye-sub, 6×4 or 2×6 strips) — different chassis. The Vintage booth is an open-style booth built around a real piece of hand-finished mid-century wooden furniture — the booth itself is the talking point. The oval enclosed booth is the opposite shape: a sleek modern cabin with walls and a roof, designed to give guests privacy rather than to dominate the room. Pick vintage when the booth itself needs to be part of the décor; pick oval when guests want to step inside.

Can the cabin go outdoors?

Covered marquees on a level surface only — the cabin isn't weatherproof and needs a solid flat floor for the door to seal. For genuinely open-air events the 360 video booth or the Selfie Pod under a marquee are better fits.

How long does setup take?

30–60 minutes. We arrive 60–90 minutes before your event start time, position the cabin, run the camera and printer through a test sequence, and have everything ready before doors open.

How big is the cabin?

About 1.5m × 2m of floor footprint. Standard room ceiling height is fine — no clearance issue. Allow a bit of clear space around the door for guests to come and go between groups.

Can the cabin be branded for a corporate event?

Yes — the whole exterior of the oval cabin can be wrapped with your branding (logo, product imagery, campaign artwork — your file). Pair that with a branded overlay on every print and a branded online gallery delivered after the event and the booth doubles as a freestanding brand stand. Flag at quote stage so we can quote the wrap and turn the artwork around in time.

Are prints colour or black-and-white?

Guests pick at the touchscreen on every visit — colour, black-and-white, or filtered. The printed copy is always a still; the digital share can be a still or a GIF.

Can we add the Kardashian Glam or Magazine Cover experience on this booth?

Those experiences run on the Vintage booth. The oval enclosed booth pairs particularly well with the Green Screen Dream Experience — guests pose against a green screen inside the cabin and the software drops in whatever background suits the brief (themed backdrops, branded scenes, animated environments). Flag the experience at quote stage and we'll pre-load it.

Does it support GIFs and boomerangs?

GIFs yes, boomerangs no. The printed copy is always a still — that's the keepsake. For the digital share, guests can pick a still or a GIF on the touchscreen and the GIF goes to the online gallery and the share options. No boomerang mode on this booth.

Does the booth print on the spot or do guests have to wait?

Prints land in the tray in under 10 seconds. The print is dry, smudge-proof and ready-to-handle straight out of the printer — dye-sublimation technology, not the thermal-receipt-roll style that fades.

Do guests get digital copies too?

Yes — every shot uploads to a branded online gallery and guests can scan a QR code at the booth or download from the gallery link after the event. We also support on-the-night email and AirDrop sharing for guests who want a copy on their phone immediately.

Is the booth attended or self-service?

Your choice at booking. Attended hires put a team member at the booth all night to guide groups, hand out props, and run the guest book if you've added one. Unattended hires are self-service — the booth runs itself, with a team member in the area for the duration of every hire either way.

Are props included?

Yes — props are included as standard. The exact selection rotates depending on what's in the kit on the day.

Can we get a guest book?

Yes — popular wedding add-on. Guests get a second printed strip on every visit; one for them to take home, one for the guest book with space alongside for a handwritten message. Usually paired with an attended hire so our team member can run the book through the night.
