A full-length illuminated mirror that doubles as a photo booth. Guests step up, animated prompts talk them through the pose, a DSLR with studio-style lighting captures the shot, and a touchscreen step lets every guest sign or draw on their own print before the reveal. A custom-branded 6×4 dye-sub print lands in the tray seconds later. After the event, every shot from the night is delivered to the host as a branded online gallery.
We deliver, set up, test, and pack down. Hires run attended or unattended — your choice at booking; either way, a team member is in the area for the duration of your hire. Indoor, or covered outdoor on a solid level surface. Booked across Surrey, London, Kent and UK-wide.
Why it's the most-interactive booth in the range
The magic mirror isn't a faster booth, a cheaper booth or a smaller booth — it's the most-interactive one. Three reasons. First, the talking mirror — animated prompts walk every guest through the pose, so even guests who'd normally hang back at a photo booth step up. Second, the sign-on-screen step — every guest signs or draws on their own print before the reveal, so the couple ends a wedding with a stack of personalised guest signatures rather than just photos. Third, the statement-piece look — a full-length illuminated mirror is a feature of the room before it's a photo booth, pulling a crowd by being part of the décor.
What's included as standard

- DSLR with studio-style lighting
- Dye-sub printer — instant 6×4 photos with custom branded overlay
- Animated talking-mirror prompts + sign-on-screen / draw-on-screen step
- Custom branded overlay on every print (logo, names, monogram or hashtag)

Add-ons
- Backdrop — sequin walls (gold, silver, rose-gold), floral walls, branded printed backdrops, or themed seasonal backdrops. The full-length mirror photographs particularly well against a backdrop, so this is a popular pairing
- Audio guestbook pairing — Audio Guestbook next to the mirror for voice messages alongside the signed prints; popular wedding combination
- Themed props on request — flag a theme at quote stage and we'll do our best to match
Space and power
- ~1m × 2.5m total — mirror footprint plus ~2m of clear space in front for guests to pose
- 1 × standard 13A socket
- Indoor, or covered outdoor on a solid level surface (marquee / gazebo / canopy — not bare open-sky)
How a magic mirror hire actually runs
- Quote and book — drop your event date, postcode and event type into the instant quote, confirm with a deposit, and send us your logo, names or monogram for the overlay.
- On the day, before guests arrive — we turn up 30–60 minutes before your event start time and have the mirror set up and tested in another 30–60 minutes.
- Guests use the mirror — they step up, animated prompts talk them through the pose, a DSLR captures the shot, and they sign or draw on the touchscreen. The mirror reveals their photo with the signature on top and dispenses a 6×4 print in about ten seconds. On attended hires the team member keeps the queue moving and helps guests with the signature step.
- Take-home keepsake on the night — the printed signed photo is the on-the-night output (live phone-sharing isn't a mirror feature; that's the Selfie Pod flow).
- After the event — we pack down and send you a branded online gallery of every signed shot from the night, ready to share with your guests.
Magic mirror vs other booths in the range
All four open-style booths cover different sales angles:
- Magic mirror — full-length illuminated frame, DSLR, 6×4 prints, sign-on-screen signature step, talking-mirror reveal. Mirror-only software (no GIFs, no Glam, no AI experiences). Pick this for the interactive signature flow and the statement-piece look — especially for weddings.
- Vintage Photo Booth — hand-finished mid-century wooden booth, DSLR, 6×4 or 2×6 prints. Same print quality, completely different chassis aesthetic. Pick this if you want the booth itself as designer furniture in the room.
- Selfie Pod — slim modern tower, HD camera, 2×6 strips + GIFs + boomerangs + live phone-sharing, runs every software experience (Glam, Magazine Cover, AI, custom layouts). Pick this for software flex and digital sharing.
- Retro Pod — wooden tripod with shield-shaped fascia, same internals as the selfie pod. Pick this for vintage styling at a lower price point than the Vintage booth.
The mirror's specifically the right call when the signature step is the feature you want (weddings, milestone parties) or the statement-piece look is what the room needs (corporate launches, brand activations, milestone birthdays in big venues). For everything else, the selfie pod is usually the default.
Where it works best
- Weddings — the headline use. Full-length frame for formal attire, sign-on-screen step gives the couple a personalised guest book in prints, custom overlay carries the couple's names and date on every shot. Pair with an Audio Guestbook for a complete keepsake set
- Milestone birthdays — 30ths, 40ths, 50ths, 60ths and 80ths; the signature step works particularly well as a personalised souvenir for the birthday host
- Corporate Christmas parties — custom-branded overlay carries the company logo on every print guests post, the full-length mirror pulls a crowd in big venues
- Corporate launches and brand activations — the mirror is a feature of the room before it's a booth; works well as the centrepiece of a launch space
- New Year's Eve parties — the illuminated frame and animated overlays suit the night
- Hotel and country-house venues — full-length frame photographs particularly well against grand venue interiors
